What action would you guys recommend I take? I would hate to read "toddler mauled to death" or something of the like in a Cedar Rapids newspaper a month from now.

  Gail L Rosbach Tell Courtney Jo that rehoming this dog would be dangerous. Explain to her that normal pets do not do this and explain to her how an attack on other dogs, is 99% of the time, going to result in an attack on a human, because owners will try to intervene and get hurt also. She should put the dog down

  Jane Shryock I have tried, and so had at least one other person. She does not want to hear it and deletes the comments, rudely stating, "I am here to rehome the dog, not talk about anything else."

  Jane Shryock Even if it's on a post you made? It's a relatively small community group, wouldn't be surprised if she knows an admin or asked one to delete it.

  Liza Mae Yes, in a closed group, any group, only admins can delete. As a member, you can hide comments you don't like, but that is only from yourself. But I'm no Einstein. I could be wrong. Could be one of the admins is a sympathizer.

  Jean Olszewski Tell her Betty Todd's story who was killed on January 8, 2013. Her daughter in laws pit bull killed the Husky she lived with. They were going to put her down , but the animal welfare and vet talked her out of it. A few months later, that pit bull killed Betty in front of her grandchildren .
