  Lynne Smith But they don't want equal treatment, they want better treatment and more lax restrictions. I don't see them fighting to rehab beagles that don't pass temperament tests or save Chows that bite the neighbor's kid. Equal treatment means all dogs are held to the same standard and expected to cause an equal share of the problems. If your dog of choice causes more than its fair share of issues due to its genetics, then that's a breed problem, but those issues are still be judged the same as if any other dog was doing them.

  Joanie Caldwell-Kenoshmeg I believe the female head of the parks and rec dept in Hazel Park is helping them as when I called about requirements for being in the parade she said she doesn't allow anything political, yet the pitbull promoters say they are getting a green light to WALK in the vets parade.

  Joanie Caldwell-Kenoshmeg Do we have any veterans in this group? I am thinking VETERANS must not know about this. I just remember edthat Fred Crutchfield of Coal HIll Arkansas, a war veteran, was killed by pitbull in Febuary. There is something very perverse, cruel and creepy about having pitbulls walk in parade amongths veterans when some of them have been killed by the dogs.
