Haters refuse to believe anything that portrays pit bulls in a positive way as this would shatter their fallacy of tricking the community into killing all pit bulls with their lies and propaganda.

Pittie attacks neighbour's dog, NOT to protect the child at all, child gets caught up in the melee. They are also begging for money... sigh. Would like to know what kind of dog the neighbour had; the dog that got killed by the 'Protective Pittie'. Probably another Pit Bull; something fierce by the look of that scarred Pit dog face.

"I am in tears, I won’t deny I really am, I am very happy that she got rescued and that she is now recovering, but really sad how she got assaulted and you won’t believe what happened, the 5-year old girl, Remayah was attacked by her neighbor’s dog! As shocked as you are now, but the good news, at least, her family pit bull dog jumped over the fence and rescued her. But the price is paid the pit-bull killed the dog and the girl is scared so bad….I don’t know why in the world did that dog do that, his owner, Gasper, assures that his dog was a very good one and didn’t at all expect that to happen.

The South Florida family is very proud of their pit-bull, she is a heroine, and the dad was actually shocked and was crying of course and said that they trained their dog to be protective.

Gasper believes that his dog is innocent and is very sad that his dog is gone, but now is more concerned about the little girl. The family was saving up for their trip to Disney land, but now they are going to spend the money for her surgery and they also set up a new account to raise money to help them pay for that trip.
Now that the story is said, what is your opinion? Whose fault is it? In my own opinion, it’s the dad.. Because first of all she didn’t know where she was, second he should be watching over her and all that happened and, of course, the girl was screaming and the dog came into rescue, I am proud of the dog.. But the loss is not a happy ending in the death of a dog and a 5-year old getting a plastic surgery!

Adam Combs Its all BS. Where were the adults and more importantly how monstrous is this pit to chop up the other dog? Guarding and protecting is one thing, mutilating another. Confusing at best.

James Hassinger Parents lied. Other news reports say the dogs were fighting and the child tried to break up the fight and her own pit bull mauled her and killed the other pit bull.

Vonnie Harvey Dunn I doubt that anyone other than the taxpayers are paying medical on this. I couldn't walk into an emergency room here for the cost of a Disney trip let alone pay for plastic surgery. Disgusting that they would ask for money for a trip under the circumstances. James Hassinger The reason they lied: same reason they always do, they do not want to lose their pit bull, so they claim another dog attacked their child. There are many stories of parents claiming other dogs attacked their children because they value their pit bull above their children
