Not too long ago, Halo-a pit bull puppy-was stolen and severely abused by Tyler Scott Sanders, a 21-year-old jerk from Lake Charles Louisiana.
Police say that Halo was found with a number of pellet gun wounds, permanent eye damage, and a fractured skull along with other broken bones.
Well, Tyler pleaded guilty to aggravated cruelty and theft of a dog, and has been sentenced to 10 years in prison! He was also fined $5,000 and has to pay for all of Halo’s medical bills upon release from prison.
Though he was severely abused, Halo, on the other hand, is rebounding from his trauma. He may always have a limp and limited vision in one eye, but he’s now a happy boy and gets to live out a normal doggie life-and more-from here on out.
He is in the process of becoming a therapy dog and will not be up for adoption; he has been taken in as a permanent family member of the Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue group.

A death sentence for the piece of crap who did this would be more reasonable. There's nearly 8 billion people on this planet, we don't need to keep people like that alive. The world would be a better place without people like that.
