Journalist and media organizations really need to lift their game it's dodgy reporting like this that fuels the fires of breed specific legislation.

The Breed specific legislation propaganda machine is well aware of the media bias against pit bulls and takes advantage of it at every
step.

Below you can see a post by Valerie Brown to her Facebook pit bull hate group, The Pit Bull Problem  one of a dozen or so hate groups using Bsl in their pit bull extinction campaign

Valerie has utilized some sensationalist journalism, a second rate reporter has labeled an "150 lb" dog as being a pit bull in spite of the fact that a big male American Pit Bull Terrier tops out at "60 lb".

Valerie has taken the liberty of actually changing the picture featured in the news story to further her cause.....

As you can see the dog in the picture is no where near "150 lb" and in true Bsl proponent style the dog looks like an American Bully and not an American Pit Bull Terrier.

Below is the actual news article when posted in its original form.....

A four-year-old Coffee County boy is seriously mauled by his family's pit bull.

"COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) — A four-year-old from Coffee County recuperates at Children's Hospital in Birmingham following a savage attack by the family's 150-pound pit bull "

Now this a is just another example of the type of loose journalism that's fanning the flames of breed specific legislation and getting hundreds of thousands to millions of innocent pets killed annually!

Seriously when are we are the majority going to step up and insist in accurate media reporting as opposed to this "he said she said" style of reporting we're enduring now?

For the reporters consistently making inaccurate statements.....

Breed Standards & Appearance - The REAL Pit Bull

It's become relatively clear how accurate media reports are following the recent elections in America highlighting their tendencies to use go to words to raise circulation and raise their numbers and the words "Pit Bull Attacks" are definitely being utilized by unscrupulous organizations.

Even the top media organization seem guilty and have encompassed second rate media style tactics obviously willing to make money off the lives of pit bulls and dog bite related victims often intentionally mislabeling dogs as pit bulls for no other reason then to raise circulation and make money.

I've dropped some links related to reporting media ethics or specifically the lack of that we're consistently seeing in the media propaganda is being promoted as facts and it's just not good enough.

It's time for accuracy and integrity to come back to news media we need for the sake of our pets to make a stand and exclaim we're just not going to take it anymore.

It really is time for change but only we can cause that change, together?

more to come.....
