"The Pit Bull Problem" members are cyber bully's and fanatics particularly Valerie Brown.

Recently a pit bull owner became aware of "the pit bull problem" which is a Facebook hate group run by Valerie Brown who seems to be using Facebook as a platform to launch hate attacks against both pit bulls and their owners upon seeing the propaganda, lies and hate being spread by this hater this owner decided to "pm" this bully and give her a piece of her mind and Valerie decided to copy her "pm" and post it in her hate group with some pretty nasty language which is typical of your average breed specific legislation advocates.

Valerie seems to react badly when her propaganda is dispelled.

As you can see Valerie's not the sharpest tool in the shed obviously as she continues to spread her lies and disinformation and seems to get quite upset when anyone disputes and successfully dispels the garbage she posts.

Valerie rarely lets actual facts get in the road of a good rant and although she claims not to ignore all the victims of non pit bull type dogs she regularly posts and comments confirming her position as she's done in this post too.

As you can see Valerie blatantly lies as a matter of normal operating procedure just check it out she says "Only pit bulls and their mixes re out there killing and mauling people" which is a load of poppy cock obviously as the 138 victims of non pit bull type dogs between 2005 - 2015 are evidence contradicting her claims as over thirty five types/breeds of dogs have been involved in fatal attacks on humans.

The reality is that Valerie can't even prove one fatal attack has actually involved a legitimate papered American Pit Bull Terrier but that's not an issue for Valerie as she doesn't rely on proof and evidence she's too smart for all that!! ( pmsl!!!!)

One only has to visit her grotty little ill informed hate group to verify these people are not public safety advocates or they'd promote and support breed neutral owner specific legislation like the rest of the main stream legitimate animal organizations.

Valerie typically claims to be talking for the majority of the community whereas the sad truth is she a part of a very small minority of fanatics that put their hatred for pit bulls above the best interests of the community at large.

If you visit the hate group you'll see youtube videos of alleged pit bulls attacking cats and other dogs and there's no investigation done to confirm the story they just gleefully run with it further spreading lies and disinformation.

Let me ask you again Valerie if pit bulls attack because of their fighting "genes" how do you explain the 138 deaths involving non pit bull type dogs between 2005 - 2015?

Given that dogsbite and their culty's call mixed breed mutts "pit bulls" that statistic is quite likely a lot higher then that as a recent investigation revealed the 75% or three quarters of the dogs identified as pit bulls by dogsbut were actually mixed breed mutts being misrepresented as pit bulls.

The fact is not one legitimate animal organization in the world supports breed specific legislation and even the American Bar Association with over 400,000 members has brought a resolution calling for breed specific legislation to be repealed nationwide.

This is what the legal eagles had to say.....

"Breed-discriminatory measures, sometimes referred to as breed-specific measures, distinguish dogs of one or more specific breeds, along with dogs presumed to mixes of those breeds, as inherently dangerous because of the dog’s physical appearance. Often these provisions will describe the most common physical characteristics of the breed, or they will refer to the American Kennel Club or United Kennel Club’s description.

Dogs within the community are judged by these physical characteristics. If a certain number of features are present in a particular dog, the dog is presumed to be a member of the breed or, in the case of mixed-breed dogs, of that breed’s heritage and is classified as dangerous per se. The consequences of this classification vary greatly. Some laws ban the ownership, keeping or harboring of dogs of certain breeds or appearance, other laws place onerous restrictions on the dogs and their owners.

These restrictions can include requiring sterilization, micro-chipping, prescribed enclosures, muzzling, special leashes, specific collars, detailed signage, training and a minimum age of the person who can walk the dog. The dogs affected by these laws have not actually shown dangerous behaviors; the dogs just appear to be of a certain breed or heritage. Breed-discriminatory laws occasionally are proposed and sometimes passed by local governments.

These proposals usually come after a well-publicized and emotional dog bite incident within or near the local community and are best described as “panic policy wsrttmaking.”1 Because these laws are enacted out of emotion, lawmakers often fail to consider the effects of provisions that impact the property rights of responsible dog owners and can involve the seizing and destroying of property (family pets) simply because their dog is of the targeted breed, heritage, or appearance.

Currently twelve states avoid panic policy making by prohibiting breed discriminatory measures.2 Only one state, Ohio, previously defined one or more breeds of dogs as “vicious.”3 In February 2012, the State of Ohio enacted legislation that repealed that designation and establishing a generic dangerous dog law based on behavior. In addition, many national public health and animal welfare organizations publicly oppose breed-discriminatory legislation, including the American Humane Association, 4 American Kennel Club,5 American Society for the Prevention"

Fortunately for pit bull owners in America truth and common sense are winning over disinformation and propaganda and the fact is these pit bull hating fanatics aren't smart enough to realize their war against pit bulls is lost.

As breed specific legislation across the nation and the world is dropped for more realistic legislation that actually protects the community from all dangerous dogs these people are becoming increasingly agitated and their behavior reflects this with increasing instances of cyber bullying and temper tantrums of spoiled children.

The haters dismiss individual pit bull owner stories as being anecdotal then proceed to tell their story and then assign that behavior to all pit bulls when the fact is there's an average of 32 dog bite related fatalities in America each year and not all involve pit bulls obviously but considering there's an estimated 4-6 million pit bulls in America that means that 5,999,968 pit bulls are paying with their lives because of the actions of those alleged to have attacked.

The harsh reality is breed specific legislation has no discernible affect on over all bite instances or dog bite related fatalities hence no-one supports it.....

Here's what the actual experts say.....

"Breed-specific legislation for dog bite prevention has failed to reduce the frequency ... about aggressive dogs, but banning particular breeds is not the solution."

Breed-specific legislation | Australian Veterinary Association

"While genetics are an important factor, the impact of the environment and learning are critical to the behaviour of a dog. The tendency of a dog to bite is dependent on at least five interacting factors:  heredity (genes, breed)  early experience  socialisation and training  health (physical and psychological) and  victim behaviour (Beaver 2001, Seksel 2002, Snyder 2005). Other factors include the sex and age of the animal, along with a range of other social and environmental factors."

"“Breed-specific” legislation (BSL) is, essentially, canine bigotry. More specifically, the term refers to regional laws that ban or regulate certain breeds of dog in the hopes of reducing attacks on humans.

Not only is BSL unjust, it just doesn’t work. Anywhere. And the stats prove it.
Because of this, many cities (and states and countries) have repealed their antiquated BSL laws over the years, but far too many cities and municipalities (including Denver and Miami) have them intact.
Legalized discrimination, much? These laws are based on nothing more than misconceptions, misinformation and fear."

There's just a few of the articles on the internet addressing Bsl unfortunately pit bull haters seeming to be suffering from "cognitive dissonance" which stops them from accepting all the legitimate science out there as it conflicts with their core beliefs so they reject it outright in favor of propaganda from dogsbut.org claiming it's legitimate information which is clearly not the case.
