Daxtons Freinds is not a reliable source as they intentionally mislead the community by calling mixed breed mutts "pit bulls" too.....

Once again the media is up to it's old tricks enabling the pit bull haters with inaccurate reporting and typically the totally dodgy Dj over on the alleged victims group Daxtons friends is typically in the thick of it peddling his lies and disinformation.

Jeff Borchardt seems to have ignored all the reports stating quite clearly that the dogs involved in this tragedy were actually pit bull "MIXES" another words they were mutts as you can see by the picture above that dogs not a pit bull.

This is an American Pit Bull Terrier.....

As you can see Jeff has used a picture of the victim generally without their permission.

As you can see the NY Daily is obviously more interested in ratings then factual reporting as the headline says pit bull in spite of the story saying "MIXES"!

Fortunately there are still some legitimate news organizations out there as you can see by the story below the headline says "Dogs" as opposed to "pit bull".

"ATLANTA - A growing memorial now sits where a 6-year-old boy lost his life and a little girl was seriously injured when two dog attacked them in their southwest Atlanta neighborhood.

The attack happened around 7:30 a.m. on Cerro Street while the children were walking to F.L. Stanton Elementary School.

Three children were present during the attack, but only two were mauled by the dogs.

Fulton County Animal Control officials said one of the dogs is a pit bull mix and the other a border collie. A third dog got away."

CBS seems to be one of the more credible news organizations as their not willing to stoop to gutter tactics and sensationalist reporting.

"A CBS46 camera crew at the scene captured video of officers surrounding one of the dogs. When the dog tried to get away, an officer fired shots at the dog. The dog was hit, but ran off and was later captured, police said.

Animal control officers later took the dogs into custody. Investigators were trying to determine whether a third dog, perhaps a stray, was involved in the mauling. Animal control describes the dogs as pit bull mixes."

The fact is 2017 has started the way 2016 finished with pit bull haters being enabled by 2 bit scandalous sensationalist reporting by many news organizations which in itself is driving the deaths of hundreds of thousands of pit bulls around the world on a daily basis and it needs to stop.
