If you've been unlucky enough to encounter any of these so-called advocates you'd know they use nonsense science and junk logic and cherry pick from studies and if they can't dispute data they label them as being part of the "pitbull lobby" an underground secret lobby group which includes big tobacco companies to the National Canine Research Council, the American Veterinary Association and the list goes on anyone that doesn't agree with their lunacy is a part of the conspiracy.

As you can affirm for yourselves by reading their comments these people are not real smart or they're just down right dangerously ignorant with revenge on their mind and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised to learn it was one of this bunch of pitbull hating fanatics that was involved in this nasty incident.
The hate these people incite is getting beyond dangerous with innocent family pets getting poisoned with rat poison in sausages what if a child decides to eat a piece of sausage laced with rat pellets or razor blades and if that's not scary enough there's been numerous cases of family pets going missing and then later their decapitated bodies are thrown back in to their families yards for children to find all behavior you'll find being promoted within these hate groups and pages on facebook
There's a core group of about twenty people that have many fake profiles throughout social media which they use to coordinate and launch social terror campaigns against shelters, rescues, pet owners and anyone else that disputes their lunacy.
