These people regularly single out particular rescue/shelters and expose them and their followers to a rigorous social terror campaign where they attack members, stalk their facebook pages bullying and harassing anyone commenting on the page and they do all they can to disrupt operations of legitimate organizations costing innocent dogs their lives.

The first comment on this story is "Glad the animal will not be euthanized" - why? So it can attack some more? Maybe a child next time? During the 10 day quarantine the shelter hasn't even talked to the owner but they're going to give the dog back as long as they promise to stay in touch?

  Thomas McCartney They don't even really know who this guy is and they don't seem to interested in verifying it, he could be a pit nutter, a dog fighter................sounds like there are some hoops for them to jump through, maybe they will say it is not worth it and the mutant will still go over the asbestos bridge.

  Lori Welbourne I'm appalled by the shelter's reaction but not surprised - what I find surprising, and really disturbing, is that the reporter asks no hard questions... like this is totally acceptable, giving a vicious dog back to its owner and putting the public at risk.

Well featuring everything from conspiracy theories involving dogfighting  (Gail) and this organization because they won't kill a dog that was involved in an incident with another dog all because it looks like a pitbull.

Right down to prejudice claiming that if the dog involved was a Golden Retriever it would have been killed from Nancy which is another lot of cods wollop.

And how could I not mention the ever rambling Thomarse the genuine wordsmith he is with his descriptive adjectives his latest being "send the mutant over the asbestos bridge" , such wordcraft brings a tear from my eye.

Trying to stifle the urge to burst into laughter at follies of the pro bsl brigade as their flagship goes bye bye...
