This man from Fort Wayne, Indiana is jut one of the nine suspects that have been recently booked and charged in connection to a dog fight investigation that was carried out in several US states.

More than 60 dogs were rescued in the investigation.

The network was set up by 9 people:

Anthony “Monte” Gaines, 35, of Vineland, New Jersey (already in state custody on unrelated charges)

Justin Love, 36, of Westville, New Jersey

Lydell Harris, 30, of Vineland

Mario Atkinson, 40, of Asbury Park, New Jersey

Frank Nichols, 39, of Millville, New Jersey

Tiffany Burt, 34, of Vineland

Dajwan Ware, 43, of Fort Wayne, Indiana (pictured above)

Pedro Cuellar, 46, of Willow Springs, Illinois

Robert Arellano, 62, of Albuquerque, New Mexico

The network spanned from New Mexico to New Jersey. Investigators have strong evidence that all the above-mentioned people have been involved in transporting, delivering, buying and selling pit bull type-dogs.

Their properties were raided and officials discovered compelling evidence to support such charged.

Multiple wounded dogs were on the premises; they were kept in terrible conditions, locked in tiny crates.

Treadmills and “flirt” poles (used to strengthen dogs’ jaws) were also discovered on the property.

Medical equipment were uncovered as well, because none of the members of this ring would seek authorized vet care of the dogs.

The dogs are now being looked after by the Humane Society of the United States.

Current laws stipulate that such offences constitute a felony and the maximum penalty applicable is  five year jail term and a $250, 000 fine for each charge.

We, the undersigned, sincerely hope that the law will be applied entirely and these ruthless subhumans will not get away with a slap on the wrist.

All the suspects should receive the maximum penalty for being involved in an absolutely despicable trade that caused tremendous suffering to countless animals.

Please support the petition and seek true justice for all the innocent, voiceless victims that ended up being viciously mistreated by these men!
