The Hypocrisy of Bsl Advocates.

Well it's just another day in haters paradise over at Dangerous Dogs the page owner is notorious for changing headlines on news articles to generate more hype and on at least one occasion include a child struck by a train as a pit bull victims to bolster numbers and stack the stats in typical pro breed specific legislation proponent style.

Great Danes mauling children! I thought Great Danes used to be a laidback calm breed. No longer, it seems.

Margaret Wilson I ran into a few nasty ones back in my vet tech days. Not very common, IMO. Stupid move to send kids outside with strange dogs. I have 4 LGDs. They love my grandchildren but .......

Irene Lobaido They are big dogs, not socialized, not neutered, ..it doesn't take much, when one starts the attack, they all pack up.. Mother was caring for these dogs and apparently brought kids along to property.. Not real smart!

Margaret Wilson In my years in the biz I never met a nasty Dalmatian. When I was an ACO the most common biter was Australian Cattle Dogs, Heelers. They need to live on a ranch and have a job. Of course, the horrendous damage is done by Pits.

Kathy Bark OK....this guy's company is called Rare Danes... and how does one get an unheard of color...you "inject" it with another breed. Then breed back to Dane...BUT the genes still linger from the "injected" dog.

Irene Lobaido These dogs live in the middle of nowhere. .. Most likely they are totally unsocialized,untrained.. They are a breeding facility, for owners to use dogs to earn their living..

Irene Lobaido All dogs were surrendered and put down..thank God!! Children are home except for one..owner is a registered sex offender, just announced on the news.. Owner charged with dangerous dogs!!

Freda Ward We are also seeing a euro injection into our American Danes, where they still breed them for boar hunting. Just a thought, never had any temperament problems till I bred my girl to a euro stud. Got out of danes altogether after that.

The hypocrisy of these individuals is off the chart with excuses made for non banned breeds and their owners when they attack whereas all dogs that attack "MUST" be linked somehow to pit bull genetics obviously or their whole "it's in their genes" campaign falls down as every death involving non banned breeds puts another in the coffin of Bsl.

The fact is by dogsbite's own figures 218 people have been victim to non banned breeds over an 11 year period and breed specific legislation does nothing to address these deaths nor does it do anything to prevent similar deaths in the future and that's the truth.
