The activity"Activity" is a bit misleading as there's been nowhere near that many posts to the group in the last week let alone one day upon perusal it's confirmed on average less then 20 people have reacted to any given post in the group......
The first post you'll see in the group is from it's creator and it typifies how this man operates he's a bold faced liar plain and simple his whole campaign revolves around lies and disinformation.....

Merrit lodged a formal complaint with the ombudsmen in relation to an article exposing the error in his so called "statistics".....

"The two groups in question, Animals 24-7 and DogsBite.org, are openly campaigning for the banning of pitbulls. They regularly publish statistics on deaths and bites caused by dogs. However, their data represents only a tiny portion of the serious attacks, and those of Animals 24-7 have several errors.
A tiny portion of serious attacks
The author of Animals 24-7, Merritt Clifton, publishes annual data on the number of dog attacks in Canada and the United States. The group's most recent report claims to account for almost all serious attacks between September 1982 and September 2016, a 34-year period. Clifton says he collects his data only from the media, but claims to have a comprehensive picture of the situation.
According to this report, of the 34 years studied, there were 5756 dog attacks resulting in serious injury, 4194 attacks that mutilated or disfigured the victim, and 652 deaths. The author defines serious attacks as those where the victim has been killed, mutilated, or suffered injuries that require extensive medical care. According to these same data, pitbull dogs are responsible for 78% of serious attacks, 70% of attacks that mutilated or disfigured the victim, and 53% of deaths.
As a result, there are an average of 169 serious attacks per year and 19 deaths in Canada and the United States.
But these figures are very far from reality."

THE COMPLAINT
"On September 12, 2016, Mr. Merritt Clifton filed a complaint regarding the story by journalist Bouchra Ouatik, posted online at ICI Radio-Canada.ca on Friday, September 9, 2016, entitled Pitbulls : des données non scientifiques fréquemment citées par les médias1 .
I begin by noting that the complainant is the author of the U.S.-based website Animals 24-7, to which Ms. Ouatik’s story refers, among other things.
She describes Animals 24-7 as a group that publishes yearly data on the number of dog bites in Canada and the United States, and that openly campaigns for a ban on pit bulls, but whose statistics “are quite far from the truth” [“sont très loin de la réalité”], because they represent “only a tiny portion of severe attacks” [“qu’une infime portion des attaques graves”] and “contain many errors” [“comportent plusieurs erreurs”]."
CONCLUSION
Bouchra Ouatik’s story Pitbulls : des données non scientifiques fréquemment citées par les médias, published September 9, 2016, on the ICI Radio-Canada.ca website, was compliant with CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices. Although the wording of her lead paragraph, in referring to “dog bites” rather than “severe dog attacks,” may have been somewhat misleading with regard to the data gathered by the complainant and his Animals 24-7 website, this does not appear to me to result from a deliberate desire to twist the truth, because the ensuing paragraphs employ the wording used by the complainant himself: “attaques causant des blessures graves,” “attaques ayant mutilé ou défiguré la victime” and “attaques ayant causé la mort” [“attacks doing bodily harm,” “permanent disfigurement or loss of a limb,” “fatal attacks”].
I would add, if there were any need to prove absence of bad faith on the part of the journalist, that the quantity of studies and research that she amassed for her series of reports on pit bulls appears to me to be quite exceptional.
She went so far as to search databases of North American newspapers for the numbers of deaths attributable to two dog breeds other than pit bulls, i.e., German Shepherds and Malamutes, since 1982.
In theory, since she used the same source as Animals 24-7, she should have arrived at the same results. Yet she discovered twice as many deaths attributable to German Shepherds and four times as many attributable to Malamutes than what Animals 24-7 had logged.
Although Ms. Ouatik made no mention of that undertaking in her article, in my opinion, that additional fact checking is evidence of unusual diligence in seeking the truth, as opposed to a desire to twist the reality for argument’s sake.

Let's look at some of the posts from the group to just give an example of their overall mindset and quite quickly put paid to any claims that they are victims support advocates or act in the best interests of the community in any way shape or form.....
This first post by Von demonstrates the willingness of these so called victim activists to intentionally mislead the community as they consistently claim that any individual of average intelligence can identify pit bulls yet they religiously post pictures and videos of American Bully's calling them pit bulls which clearly they are not.....

Carla Teresa White is one truly sick puppy she claims watching innocent family pets get shot and their owners reaction to said incident are her version of "porn" I'm sure everyone agrees this is one very depraved individual to say the least.....
Sybil Spach chime in with the notorious SSS's which stands for "Shoot, Shovel & Shut Up", one of the many catch cries of these alleged public safety advocates they also recommend the use of all manner of weapons against both pit bulls and their owners within the community......
Joanna M cGinn exclaims "she deserved to have her dog shot" once again nothing surprising here I've been monitoring these hate groups for some time and honestly they're truly fanatical dangerous people and they obviously really don't care for actual victims otherwise they just wouldn't support breed specific legislation......
Mia Johnson obviously gives little credence to actual evidence or proof as she sharing links to the Lowell tragedy urging all their followers to email council members and news organization in relation to the tragedy in spite of witness statements describing 2 100-120 lb dogs and given that American Pit Bull Terriers maximum weight is 65 lbs the dog were obviously not pit bulls.....
Sectors of the media use the term "pit bull" as click bait erroneously labeling obvious mixed breed mutts as pit bulls & the anti pit bull activists like Mia Johnson take full advantage of this in their intensive hate campaign against pit bulls and their owners.....

Micheal Riehle again gives us all an insight in to their thinking claiming that trying to ban pit bulls is never going to work but his reason for why are quite skewed verging on insane blaming the mythical "pit bull lobby" which is a figment of his own imagination as anyone and everyone opposed to breed specific legislation is labeled as being a member of the organization which doesn't even exist.....
then with just a flicker of logic he seems to be on the money but alas in was a false hope as I realize he seems to be blaming anti Bsl activists for exposing the fact that over thirty five breeds of dogs have been involved in fatal attacks on humans.
Bsl is being overturned in wholesale terms around the world as municipalities realize they've been tricked into enacting it with fake statistics and unprofessional opinion hence it's being dumped in favor of breed neutral legislation which has effectively stifled both dog bite fatalities and dog bite instances overall.

Then Michael calls for "Draconian" measures against only pit bull owners totally ignoring all the dbrf's involving non pit bull type dogs of which there were 128 between 2005 - 2015 don't those victim deserve a voice?
The fact is in spite of Dogsbite's claims that pit bulls accounted for 71% of the 2016 dog bite related deaths but that's a complete and blatant lie....
Of the 31 deaths in America in 2016, 20 of those tragedies involved either non pit bull type dogs or mixed breed mutts and speaking of mutts the hate group was created by Jeff Borchardt to cause the extinction of pit bulls in revenge for the tragic and totally avoidable death of his son.
The Babysitter.....
Now if Michael's draconian measure were actually law Jeff's babysitter Susie Iwicki who is actually a board member of Jeff's website allegedly created to raise awareness of the dog bite related community issues whereas it's a lightly veiled hate site which does nothing for actual victims would actually be in jail as her pets allegedly killed a Jeff's child.
Sussi's 2 poorly socialized untrained Boxer mixes (Bosston & Penny) allegedly attacked Jeff's child while in her backyard while she was sitting the child and Jeff insists they were "pit bulls" when in reality their 3 years of vet reports contained in the police report indicate the dogs were actually mixed breed.
Bosston & Penny at 4-5 months old and as you can see they're not purebred anything they're mutts....
Vet reports show quite clearly the dogs were definitely not pit bulls at all....
Boston & Penny were taken away from their mother at 4-5 weeks old way too early in most opinions and coupled with the fact the dogs spent their lives either penned in the backyard or crated inside the house they were poorly trained and/or socialized which would logically have contributed to this tragedy as opposed to "breed' especially given they were mutts.....
In spite of the fact that the dogs involved were obviously mutts Jeff has gone on a vengeful rampage against both pit bull and their owners ever since all under the guise of acting in the best interests of the community.
Jeff is a wedding Dj and immediately after the tragedy involving his son he went on a social media rampage with comments like this (below) and as you can see instead of helping him his so-called friends actually encouraged him.....

Jeff's whole campaign is based on the lie that pit bulls killed his son when the reality is the dogs were mutts but please I caution anyone on raising this issue with Jeff as he generally reacts by attacking anyone exposing the flaws in his argument usually trying to play the victim in spite of baiting and goading his victims.....
Jeff's a real media and attention whore he's been interviewed by news corporations and even appeared on television peddling his blatant lies claiming the dogs were pit bulls when clearly they were not.....
Jeff Borchardt can not be trusted to give an un-bias opinion/information or anything relating to pit bulls he has let his hatred and need for revenge to pollute his mind and seems to think he's acting in the best interests of the community whereas it's closer to the truth to say he's a menace to society.....
The fact is "The Pit Bull Propaganda Machine Revealed" is a poorly disguised hate group waging an extinction campaign against pit bulls and a terror campaign against pit bull owners, the members of the hate groups are generally of poor character, tending to be morally bankrupt, corrupt and void of either empathy or compassion.....
Honestly can an individual that makes a comment like the one below to any woman let alone a 12 year old girl really be trusted to act in the best interests of any community?
I will continue to monitor these hate groups and expose their nasty tactics which include stalking and cyber bullying with a view to exposing their lies and disinformation.....
