Texas Man Will Spend Only 45 Days In Jail After Abusing His Pit Bull Puppy
In Ennis, Texas, a man will be jailed for only 45 days after he abused his dog by tying an extension cord around his neck and left it to become embedded into the pet’s flesh.
When found, the dog was suffering for severe infected injuries.
The owner was convicted last April to a 730 day sentence but was later suspended. He will be spending only 45 days in jail and he must pay a $2,000 fine.
Daniel Loredo’s actions led to the dog’s decease after veterinarians decided to euthanize the pup to end his suffering.
He is also banned from owning any animals.
