The anti pit bull lobby are using lazy sloppy reporting and underhanded tactics in their pit bull extinction campaign adding more and more breeds to their kill list.
There's been a number of incidents in the media recently relating to fatal attacks involving Mastiffs and many of the anti pit bull lobby consider "Mastiffs" to be over sized pit bulls due to the distant ancestry link between the ancient mastiffs of Europe and a number of breed types alive today.
Jeff Borchardt is responsible for promoting and sharing dangerous propaganda in a full tilt hate campaign against "pit bulls" following the extremely preventable tragedy involving his son by his baby sitters pit bull boxer mixes.
As you can see Jeff blames "pit bulls" and wants to make them extinct and he's obviously willing to promote legislation that only prevents pit bull attacks and actually does nothing for community safety in general.
Jeff has basically used all the donation to create billboards and bus shelter banners which ironically seem to feature an American Bully but are anti "pit bull" given the he calls AB's pit bulls too.....
In honor of his son Jeff created a "not for profit" organization called Daxton's Friends which he claims is an "education & awareness" website but a quick examination of the content reveals a lightly veiled hate campaign against pit bulls.

It seems to be consistent that American Pit Bull Terriers initially started in England so Apbt's tragic fighting history continued long after Staffordshire Bull Terrier owners turned their dogs into show dogs and family pets (nanny dogs) well over a hundred years ago.....

Across the board not one of the sites I visited preparing and publishing this blog mention any issue with Staff's being unpredictable and/or dangerous quite the opposite they unanimously confirm the placid nature of the breed as a whole specifically their " Nanny Dog" history with children.
In the screenshot below the author mentions the establishment of the breed in the times "many centuries ago when Bulldog and Mastiffs were related"
He goes onto state the in 1860 a breeder crossed the "old pit bull" now known as the Staffordshire Bull Terrier to get the "Bull Terrier".
So Staffordshire ancestry goes back to the "mastiff like" dogs and the Bulldog but that's not unique in fact that could be said for every breed and type of medium to large dog in the northern hemisphere.....

It really isn't that hard to see the differences between them when you see them together and it really is no wonder victims struggle to identify dogs in some cases given the similarities and the nature of any attack and the way it leaves the victim traumatized.

The reality is Staffordshires have primarily been bred and kept as show dogs and family pets since 1935 and the breed is more famous for being a "nanny dog", and a very loving faithful family member given to being overly friendly as opposed to aggressive.

The worst part of owning a Bull type breed of any type is the discrimination and prejudice in the community and it's all being driven by sloppy media using "pit bulls" as click bait often falsely claiming incidents involved pit bulls when in fact the dog was a mixed breed.
The fact is these 6 breeds (below) and more are all called and considered to be pit bulls by the media and dogsbite.org regularly mislabels pit bull mixes as pit bulls too and with all of this in 2016 of the 31 victims only eleven attacks allegedly involved pit bulls which as I've said includes the six breeds (below) and even then if we look at the true statistics as represented in the research gate report which concluded that 35% percent of fatalities throughout the time frame of the study involved dogs identified as pit bulls we see the same statistical evaluation 35%

Here's an excerpt from the study conducted by the Annals of Surgery but you'll never see this posted by the anti pit bull lobby as dogsbite.org is claiming in their latest propaganda (below) that pit bulls are responsible for 71% of fatalities in 2016 which is a straight up lie....

Jeff Borchardt can not be trusted to give unbiased facts and/or information in relation to either pit bulls or attacks in general given his hatred for pit bulls coupled with his need for revenge on both pit bulls and their owners which renders him tainted by his emotions and unreliable as a source.
Jeff exposes his hatred and bias on the Facebook page in the name of the organization created to honor his dead son.....
Jeff has seemingly taken on a vigilante mindset in relation to what he calls victims advocacy as you can see by the rant below in the screenshot he really seems to be inciting violence towards pit bulls and he's not being very subtle as it's quite clear....
Jeff seems to be acting more like a spoiled child then an actual victims advocate and given his organization created in honor of his son has no active programs or initiatives to start any programs focused on victims one wonders where do the donations go?
Any average individual not familiar with their hate campaign perusing the site may well not see the reality but if you know the facts it's abruptly obvious the site is tainted and biased against pit bulls and their owners.
The donations given to this site are squandered on propaganda with not one cent going to actually helping victims or preventing more victims in the future quite the contrary the dangerous disinformation on this site is quite likely contributing to the above average dbrf's in America for the last 3 years in a row.
In 2016, 11 of the 31 fatal dog attacks allegedly involved "pit Bulls", so 20 people were killed by either mixed breed mutts or non pit bull type dogs.
That's 20, (65%) of dog bite related fatalities in 2016 didn't involve "pit bulls" and breed specific legislation only tries to stop attacks involving pit bulls, get ready for another 20 odd deaths next year too if you keep Bsl.....
Anyone contradicting the overwhelming body of evidence confirming that Bsl does not work by supporting and promoting it has to have an ulterior motive to wanting the legislation enacted and is obviously willing to sacrifice these victims in order to kill pit bulls.....
