I am amazed how DBO cultists seem to be able to assess a dog by 2 mins of dodgy video with out knowing the history of the dog at all or what breed it is for that matter they immediately start condemning pitbulls this is all the research they do scouring the internet for attack videos and they flood them with their hatism and breedism comments, this video proves nothing other then dogs bite and fyi foamers it was a bite and considering "rthey lock on and never let go" that can't have been a pitbull can it?,, i can see clearly what caused that and if you can't your a fool! BSL is dead in the water and soon will be nothing more then a bad memory much like DBO and it nutcase owner and her boofhead dj mate! PTF= pity the fools!

Sorry I had to remove the other video because of all the negative comments directed towards my mother. Changed a few settings then added the aftermath photo since i had a few people that wanted to see it.
As for the dog in the video yes he was held for a mandatory 10 day holding period to ensure he didnt show any signs of rabies. My sister did not want to release the animal to be euthanized even though he almost killed our mother. The only reason the dog was at my moms was because my sister got kicked out of where she was living and had no place to put the dog. The 3 children that you saw in the video are my sister's kids. my parents are raising them because my sister is just not a good person when it comes to taking care of anyone/anything but herself. so when she was asked did she want to surrender Kilo she had to think about it. After speaking with animal control they informed us that because she left the dog there for more than 30 days that he was considered my parents' dog and that she had abandoned him. My dad went there the next day and signed the papers to have him euthanized. This dog had not been kept around the children and the entire time he was around he had to be kept away from them because he kept knocking them down every time they would try to run by. Even I went there and tried to teach him basic commands "sit, stay, no, and to not jump." The dog was unwilling to learn and continued to exhibit dominant behaviors. I begged my mom to get rid of him and she was terrified that someone else like my sister would get ahold of him and continue to breed him or use him for dog fights. My mom was determined to make him a part of the family and was holding out hope that he would adjust to our family. Even my dad wanted to get rid of him and told my sister several times to come get her dog, but she did not. It came to a point that I stopped going down there because I did not like the dog especially being around my daughter.
Even though Kilo was dumb and stubborn even I did not see this coming. He had no warning signes or indication of being nuerotic or anxious around people. He did not growl snarl or show any signs of aggression. He just turned for no apparent reason. Even though he almost killed my mom, she still was very upset at the situation.
My least favorite part about this story was talking to the people at animal control to find out that my irresponsible sister had previously been to the emergency room for dog bites with this dog and then still brought him to the home where her children and our parents were I completely blame my sister for this. Unfortunately we cannot pick or choose who we are related to, but I can tell you that i do not consider her family to me. This is just one incident on a long line of past and present screw ups she has dragged us through.

Unfortunately pro-pit people are in denial about the genetic traits of these dogs. MAN cross bred dogs for particular traits and pit bull type dogs all have it in them to want to kill. Besides Rottweilers, there are SAFE breeds of dogs. Pointing dogs, herding dogs, small dogs, etc. Even the large breed dogs do not maim and just usually bite and release. Pits are almost impossible to get off of the target. Of course the stories of pit bulls killing people, most of the time they say the pit or pit mix was well loved, well raised, sometimes trained, and never have shown signs of aggression before the attack and attacked out of no where. Even children or owners that they have been around fine for years. A pit bull or pit mix kills someone in the USA every 11 days. Imagine all of the disfigurements that go unreported. They kill other dogs and animals in the thousands. And unfortunately pro-pit people who are in delusion about these things like they are able to love and train this trait out of them, they ALWAYS blame anything or anyone besides the dog itself and do attack the victims after an attack or death has occurred, NEVER the dog. They are as relentless and demented as their breed of choice and say very hateful things to victims. I am sooo happy to hear your mom is okay and the dog is put down, thank God the children weren't the ones that ended up getting attacked when this dog decided to go pit.

Thank you for posting this video, it's important for people to see and understand just how fast these things can happen. I'm so sorry that your mother had to go through this, but glad to see that she is going to be ok. What a scary thing to have happen, and to have people say mean things to you about it is just disgusting.

This type of thing happens all the time.  Pit bulls are supposed to be dog/animal aggressive.  Just think about how many dogs, cats, sheep, and llamas had this done to them with fatal consequences.

Yes, I said Llamas.  Pit bulls have killed them too.

Again, good to hear she is okay it could have been A LOT worse because pit bulls were bred not to let go.  The only thing I was surprised about is that he did not continue the attack.

We read about people having to beat down pit bulls repeatedly with a baseball bat.  You think someone trained them to behave like that?

Have you considered tracking down his puppies?  They could easily have inherited his instability and they could be a real threat to their owners.

+Falkosmom unfortunately no there is no way of knowing how many dogs were bred with him. he was on pup out of a litter between 2 fighters. my sister sold off his brothers and sisters in New Orleans and then when Kilo matured there is no way of telling how many he bred with. The only reason she kept him for breeding was his size and color. he was made between 2 blue pitts and came out blue fawn. He weighed a whopping 125lbs and was built tanky. I am a heavy girl and i had a hard time when he would jump on me while i was trying work with him. he was not interested in learning he only wanted to show me he was the boss.

Purple burd the fact her first thought was to get a stick is indicative of experience meaning she'd possibly previously menaced the dog with a stick and FYI the unfortunate and kind heart-ed ladies face wasn't ripped off and that being the case seems to indicate the dog wasn't a pitbull? (purple burd acting like DBO cultist)

Your sister is a no-brain dipshit of epic proportions. 1) She shouldn't own a pit if she's too stupid and/or lazy to train it properly, and 2) There are more than enough dogs out there in need of good homes; the world doesn't need any more at the moment.  Or was she simply studding/selling pups for meth money? Fuck her.

Other than pit bulls, what breed of dog needs training so it doesn't rip your face off or kill you?

Honestly, that pit bull is only doing what it is supposed to do.  It was triggered by the screaming and reacted with its breed specific behavior.  The pit bull was excited, not angry.

Pit must be the only dogs you have to TRAIN NOT to kill you or a family member.

This is what they eventually do, they have it in their genes. They are most happy when killing and mauling. I am just surprised they got this dog off of her so easily, usually pipes, tazers, pepper spray, and poles don't do it. They do it without being provoked, and they do it without warning, tails wagging the whole time. They can also pass a temperament test immediately after. These things kill someone every 11 days in the USA alone and they kill thousands of animals (Other dogs, cats, etc). These are NOT pets, your childs life is NOT worth it, and you can not love and train this trait out of them. You can go years without incident but they are ticking time bombs. I can't imagine how children have suffered being ripped to shreds alive. Thank God she is okay, should have put a bullet in its brain.
