Sandra Fuller reporting her neighbor because their visitors had a leashed "pit bull" according to Sandra who wouldn't know a pit bull if she seen one?

This is the type of behavior these people promote each day they discriminate as a way of life and think it's normal and the scary part is they believe their own lies?

So mad!!Come home after enjoying thanksgiving and what do I see!People visiting relatives that live here in the mobile home park and they bring #! $&!! Pitbull with them.Knowing full well no visiting dogs let alone pitbulls are allowed in here!!Want to visit leave the dogs at home!!Landlord will be handling it tomorrow, trust me she's not too happy about it either! What is it with these people!A tenant signs on no less than 5 places on a lease agreement no pets unless you own trailer (weight & breed restrictons also apply) no visiting dogs,no pet sitting no ifs ands or buts!Yet again these ding dong pitbull owners dont think the rules apply to them.

Sandra Fuller Fortunately it was on a leash!Landlord will be in the office tomorrow and she's not too happy about either!!Loves dogs like me but doesn't trust certain breeds and knows high risk they represent.I wasn't the only one who called her.Got 5 calls from other tenants all with children. They weren't happy either. She will nip this SH#t in the bud real quick.EVICTION!!Not the first and most likely be the last. Its always people with pibbles!!Just so sick & tired of this!!Now I am more afraid to walk my small dogs. This just sucks.

Kimberly Riddle Lanka You know a leash is useless with a determined pit and an incompetent owner... Don't feel secure just because you see it is on a leash.

Sandra Fuller Thanks for letting me vent! Now I feel better.

Kimberly Riddle Lanka I don't trust fences either. When my
CKC was attacked by a small pit just a few blocks from our house, walking on the bike path at the end of our street, the pit just ran up to the hurricane fence and climbed up and over it like it was not even an impediment. I watched the entire thing and it was like a nightmare how fast it happened and how quickly a seemingly safe situation turned into complete chaos.

Sandra Fuller Same thing with my mom's dog except pitbull dug under it and almost killed her Lasa Aphso.I will never forget her heartbreaking screams of horror.

Kimberly Riddle Lanka Sandra, I'm thinking bear spray will just infuriate these broken animals. I've gone from being completely against guns to planning to take a CC course in the next couple of weeks. All due to my fear of pits and after several run ins, I'm terrified to walk in my neighborhood or hike in woods until I have protection I feel can really save me.

Kimberly Riddle Lanka I cannot imagine a pit attacking a Lhasa Apso. It would be like a tiger going after a stuffed animal. No contest. Lucky your mom's survived.

Sandra Fuller I feel it's better than nothing and in a crowded public place I'd hate to have a bullet hit someone.Do carry a large kitchen knife and tent peg as a break stick as well as a golf club.

Kimberly Riddle Lanka True. I should probably get the spray and a better knife than my favorite Swiss Army one. I sometimes think of getting an electric prod. Do you think that would be effective?

Sandra Fuller Her Lasa Aphso was a stubborn as they come. That and he was big for a Lasa Apso around 26Lbs.Tibetans call them lion dog for a reason.Throat sliced ear to ear and lost and a eye.One tough little dog.Vet thought it would change his spirit but it didnt.Suffered from ear infections for the rest of his life because of scar tissue build up tightened the ear canal down real small.

Sandra Fuller I've heard of people getting shock defense devices, but sometimes even police tasors don't stop them.

Kimberly Riddle Lanka Aw! Poor pup! The physical and emotional scars left by pits are never compensated for.

Sandra Fuller This was her dog Sugarboy. This was years after the attack and the surgery to remove his eye. This attack happen before there was digital cameras,we did have polaroids of his injuries but lost them.Otherwise they'd be plastered all over the internet along with all the other pictures of animal victims of pitbulls

Rebecca Furr A sharp knife to cut the pit's jugular vein can and will stop them

Joanna McGinn If they are 'unfaithful', i.e. break the rules in 'small' matters, what OTHER rules/LAWS are they breaking.... esp those that will bring the law down on the landlord.??? people who do this, we've seen time and time again have multiple 'contacts with authorities'... (the 'newspeak' for police reports)

Debby Bevins To bad you don't know all about pitbulls. I had the best, loving one to me and my kids and my friends. I miss him so much.

Sandra Fuller Think you missed the point no visiting dogs are allowed here period.Never mind the fact that these tenants signed a rental agreement that states clearly states this.Landlord/property owner has a right to make the rules.Dont like go live somewhere else and yes that includes certain breeds and once again it seems that only the people who own pitbulls that think the rules dont apply to them.Multiple times landlord has had to do an eviction notice and it was because tenants got a dog and it was always a pitbull.Yes I have reasons to worry. My mothers dog was mauled in his own fenced yard by a pitbull he grew up with, next door neighbors!.I had a pitbull jump a 6ft fence and come after me and my horse on a public road! Then a local 7 year old boy mauled Tyler Jett (he died) and last month 5 pitbulls attacked a local man jogging in a nearby park. Then I had the frightening experience seeing an off leash pitbull coming straight for me and my leashed small dogs at full speed in public area!Again we have leash laws, but alas the law's and rules don't apply to the ding dong pitbull owners huh?

AJ Ravinsky Sandra Fuller Pit owners lie the way some of us drink water and breathe air, they think rules don't apply to them. When pit owners make their familiar claim, "Its not the dog its the owners", I tend to agree but not for the reasons they think!

Debby Bevins Well I see your just a angry person and need to go off on me, feel better? I got it from a little chiwawa and so did a few others, but I got 2 chiwawas and going to keep them. Also had a stupid horse where I had 2 compound fracture, but I got back up o...See More

Ryan McCabe Okay, you allegedly own two chihuahuas and you can't spell the name of the breed correctly?.
Like57 hrsEdited
Penny Spears Once again, you've got to be kidding with the "chiwawa's" story, Debby Bevins. When has a Chihuahua ever killed anyone? Removed their scalp, or both their arms? Pits are killing their own beloved family members, the children who loved them. No one taught them to do it. Your experience with your pit doesn't make them any less dead. Why do pit owners seem like no rules apply to them?

Debby Bevins Yes I understand her point but little dogs can to, its the people out there who teach them, and these days they are everywhere

Ryan McCabe Incorrect...actually, I believe if you qualify for public assistance, your pit bull is free! It's "those people". . .
Like17 hrs
Joanna McGinn You ARE being sarcastic aren't you????? if you qualify for public assistance, considering the costs of pet food and vet care ... oh yes, 'those people' usually think that it's OK to not even vaccinate their dogs even when free clinics are provided...... you really shouldn't have a dog over 8 lbs. IT"S TOO EXPENSIVE... and of course 'those people' can't afford the insurance to pay for the damages their CHOICE of a PB has a high high risk ratio of doing to other humans. Are you saying that people who live among 'those people' don't deserve a safe neighborhood for their children and families? Really????

Debby Bevins I was just looking for new home for animals because their owner passed away, but sure don't need your cup of angry tea.

Joanna McGinn If it's a dangerous dog breed, please euthanize it for everyone's sake. It's not like we're in short supply of them. Just don't expose other neighborhoods to it, please.

Julia Lewis Debbie, you need to read the notes above and the "description" info at the top right. The reason for this page's existence is to warn people about the dangers posed by pit bull-type dogs in the hope of preventing further deaths and maulings. Please read it.
