It's horrible that pit bulls are involved in more animal abuse cases. Regulate who can own them.

The disturbing cellphone footage showed Robert Emmett Martin body-slamming, punching, dragging and throwing the puppy into the street. He also hurled racial slurs at the bystander who shot the video. How many chances should we give to dangerous dogs to attack again? Wishing a speedy recovery to the injured boys, sounds like they were fortunate this time. It's high time to regulate these dogs!

Did you know it is illegal to sell or offer for sale or distribution to the public any live turtles with a shell length of less than 4 inches? Our Humane Officers seized these turtles from a local 99 cent store, which is selling them illegally.

Description
Despite the current California law that makes it illegal to declare any specific breed of dog "inherently dangerous", attacks by this type of dog are happening too frequently and something needs to be done. Despite this laws, municipalities in CA are finding ways around this law, by requiring mandatory spaying and neutering policy.
