Is it any wonder breed specific legislation proponents seem to lie all the time it comes right from the top, Colleen Lynn is sharing this story of Emily being attacked by a pit bull.
There's only one small problem the dog involved was 100 lbs whereas American Pit Bull Terriers max out at 65 lb and Colleen knows this all too well but insists on perpetuating this lie.
The fact is the dog involved in this attack looks more like some sort of American Bulldog or Mastiff mix it's definitely not a pit bull but the media insist on calling the dog a pit bull because as we all know "pit Bull" stories get plenty of attention.
The dog involved in the attack on Emily Ruckle and as you can see this dog is not an American Pit Bull Terrier
The pit bull
The 100-pound pit bull had belonged to Maria McGuinness Ruckle's ex-husband John Carpenter , who could not be reached for comment.
Ruckle said he set strict rules: Frank lived in the in-law suite only. He didn't go into the family house.
"I didn't want the dog," Todd Ruckle said. "I don't like pit bulls."

Savage pit bull attack leaves complicated case for Newark girl
American Pit Bulls Terrier's according to the breed standards grow to a maximum of 65 lb for a large male whereas the dog involved in this attack was 100 lb and looks nothing like a pit bull.
The american Pit Bull Terrier.....
Below pictured is the alleged "pit bull" involved in the attack on the little girl and straight away this dog doesn't look like a pit bull judging by it's appearance.

The fact is Colleen Lynn is not a canine expert she's a dog bite victim yes but an expert on dog bite related fatalities not in any way shape or form.
Despite her constant lies Colleen claims......
"We provide the benchmark in U.S. dog bite fatality statistics annually as well."
Source....... Colleen post......
Colleen is using the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent pit bulls to make a living spreading lies and disinformation perpetuating the lies against both pit bulls and their owners.
The fact is this post typifies the lack of any credibility to her so called victims advocacy website Dogsbite.org which in reality does absolutely nothing to help any actual victims.
There's a feeling among the legitimate animal organizations that dogsbite lies and disinformation are contributing to the escalated death toll for the third year running by giving the community a false sense of security that they are 100% protected from dog attacks if there's no pit bulls.
The harsh reality is more then thirty actual breeds and types of dogs have been involved in fatal attacks on humans in fact 128 people were killed by non pit bull type dogs between 2005 and 2015 under breed specific legislation expect another 128 in the coming decade because breed specific legislation does nothing to address fatalities involving non pit bull type dogs.
I wish Emily all the best in her ongoing recovery and state quite clearly the dog involved in the attack on her was NOT a "pit bull" but then again what's the difference what breed or type the dog was the community deserves protection from all dangerous dogs and not just dangerous pit bulls?
The media really has to lift it's game and start doing their jobs by researching reporting facts instead of opinions & disinformation!
more to come.....
